read more…Our traditional “Long O” in memory of John Bennison, to be held on the Long Mynd.
The Long Mynd is an area of open moorland with valleys running East and steeper sides to the West. Exposed open moorland, rising to 516m at Pole Bank.
Run-ability is generally good with an extensive path network and rides. The vegetation is a mixture of grass, heather, bracken and gorse. All steep slopes have scattered crags.
