Wrockwardine, WM League, Sunday 4 October 2026

We invite you to a West Midlands League event at Wrockwardine Wood, Telford. A full range of colour coded courses from White to Brown will be offered. You may run any course but if you want to score WM League points for your club, you should run one of the courses assigned for your age group as per the League Rules.

Terrain:  Woodland with contour detail and a good path network. Longer courses include urban streets.

NOTE  Brown, Blue and Green courses will have road crossings 

Entries and fees:  pre-entries  Seniors £10 (£12 for non-BOF members), Juniors £3.

Limited Entries on the day, subject to map availability.  Cash or card payment. 

Entries are open now on SiEntries and will close at 23:59 on Sunday 27 September.

Registration: 10am-12pm. Starts: 10:30am till 12:30pm. Courses close at 14:30pm. 

Punching: SportIdent electronic punching will be used. Contactless (SIAC) punching will be enabled for controls, but you must dib the Start and Finish physically. Dibbers available to hire £1. Lost dibbers will be charged at £40. 

Anyone entering the Brown course should note that a Series 5 dibber (numbered between 1 – 500,000) is not suitable for this course. If you normally use one of these, please request a hire dibber.

Facilities: Registration, EOD, toilets and download all in Leisure centre. 

Safety: Whistles must be carried. In case of bad weather cagoules may be compulsory. Competitors take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety. Full leg cover. 

Dogs:  OK on lead, but must leave no trace, and please ensure your dog and lead do not inconvenience other competitors or members of the public.

Photography: Anyone wishing to use a camera more capable than on a smartphone or compact camera, must register with the organiser of the event prior to the event taking place. No cameras are to be used in areas people are changing, which includes the car park.

Medical information

If you wish any medical information to be available to a practitioner in the event of an emergency, please fill in the British Orienteering medical information form, place it in a sealed envelope with your name on it, and deposit it at Enquiries. It will not be opened unless we have reason to believe you may have suffered a medical emergency and will be shredded after the event if you don’t collect it.

INSURANCE

Please note: participants who are not members of British Orienteering are not covered by British Orienteering’s public liability insurance. By entering this event, you acknowledge that you are taking part at your own risk. For example, if you were to accidentally injure a member of the public or damage property during the event, you would not be covered.
