Medical information

If you wish any medical information to be available to a practitioner in the event of an emergency, please fill in the British Orienteering medical information form, place it in a sealed envelope with your name on it, and deposit it at Enquiries. It will not be opened unless we have reason to believe you may have suffered a medical emergency and will be shredded after the event if you don’t collect it.

First of all, thank you all for coming – it was great to see so many, both new and familiar faces, in fact more than we had expected which is brilliant.

We will not publish formal results for this event as it is purely a “taster” and training activity. However, the more competitive among you may like to know…

On the Short course, the fastest time was 13 minutes 30 seconds, and anyone who visited all the controls in less than 61 minutes was in the top half of the leaderboard.

On the Medium course, the fastest time was 24 minutes 0 seconds, and anyone who visited all the controls in less than 45 minutes was in the top half of the leaderboard.

On the Long course, the fastest time was 25 minutes 43 seconds, and anyone who visited all the controls in less than 38 minutes was in the top half of the leaderboard.

Many thanks to those of you who allowed your map to be re-used by someone else when we were running short. If you would like us to email you a copy of your map please drop us a line via the contact form (choose “General Enquiries” from the drop down).

We hope to see you again soon!
