*Distances are “straight line” – expect actual running distances to be around 30% longer – and subject to final controlling.

** Note that Course 1 has 32 controls and Course 2 has 29. If you usually run with a Series 5 SI card (numbered between 1 ~ 499,999), which are limited to 30 punches, you should request a hire card (this is necessary on Course 1 and encouraged on Course 2 – in case of shortage we will prioritise entrants on Course 1). Hire cards are not SIAC (contactless).

Course 7 does not cross any roads. Course 6 crosses minor estate roads only. All others cross two ‘busier’ roads and are not suitable for unaccompanied juniors.

Punching: Sportident electronic punching will be used. Controls will be SIAC enabled but you will need to punch both the Start and the Finish controls. Dibbers (non-SIAC) available to hire at £1 for Seniors, free for Juniors. Lost dibbers will be charged at £40.

Safety: competitors take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety. Please take care crossing roads, and take corners wide to avoid collisions, especially when entering and leaving alleyways.  Please remember to download after your run, or you will be deemed as missing and a search will take place for you.  Shorts are permitted.

Toilets: in the school building

Organiser:  Adrian Pickles
Planner:  Clive Richardson
Controller:  Henry Morgan (POTOC)

Medical information

If you wish any medical information to be available to a practitioner in the event of an emergency, please fill in the British Orienteering medical information form, place it in a sealed envelope with your name on it, and deposit it at Enquiries. It will not be opened unless we have reason to believe you may have suffered a medical emergency and will be shredded after the event if you don’t collect it.
