A Local event at Madeley Court, Telford (please note the change of date!), ideal for newcomers.
An ideal event for newcomers to the sport or to the club. The area encompasses the country park surrounding the Madeley Court Hotel.
Venue: Parking is at the retail park on Madeley Court Way, Madeley, Telford. Take care to avoid sections with short parking limits (notably by KFC). We will be visible from the car park.

Courses: Three courses will be offered:
- Long – 6km approx , most technical
- Medium – 4.3km approx, moderately technical
- Short – 1.7km approx, least technical
Fees: Seniors £5, Juniors free
You can start any time from 10.30-12.00.
Entries: You can enter on the day, but to reserve a map for your preferred course (and to give us an idea of numbers), please send an email to richardsonclive3@gmail.com (pay when you arrive).
Medical information
If you wish any medical information to be available to a practitioner in the event of an emergency, please fill in the British Orienteering medical information form, place it in a sealed envelope with your name on it, and deposit it at Enquiries. It will not be opened unless we have reason to believe you may have suffered a medical emergency and will be shredded after the event if you don’t collect it.
