As is traditional, there will be a mass start at 12.00 noon, with the winners announced and trophies presented as soon as possible after 1pm.

Travel: all directions exit M54 at junction 6 south towards Lawley, then Dawley Road onto B4373, turning left onto Dark Lane at the mini roundabout. Continue on Dark Lane to the car park.

For bus and train travel, please check these are running. Telford Central train station is within walking distance (1km) from the Town Park, Telford bus station is also within walking distance (500m).

Course:  60-minute score event. You score 10 points per control visited, with a penalty of 10 points for each minute or part minute over 60 minutes.

Start: mass start at 12.00. No punching start available. Please be prepared to walk to the start in the arena on the grass area, not far from the climbing ropes at 11.40, depending on which car park used.

Finish: all competitors must report to download, even if retiring – if you don’t, we will probably send out a search party to look for you. Course closes at 1.15pm.

Entries: Pre-entry via Fabian4 only – there will be no EOD.
The last date for entries (updated) is 28 December 2022. Seniors £8.00 (plus£2.00 for non BOF members), Juniors £3, SI card hire available (non-SIAC) free.

Punching: SportIdent; controls will be SIAC enabled.

Terrain: open and wooded areas.

Facilities: The Rugby Club toilets will be available (men’s, women’s and disabled), as will their bar. Vending machines are also available for tea, coffee, soup etc.

Dogs: Can be walked in the area, but please leave no trace of their presence.
